Abstract

Tapioca starch waste usually had a problem after long time and then cause bad smelly and make pollution to the river. In this study, it can be use as sub-merge in citric acid fermentation used Aspergilus niger. the process was observed at pH variable from 2 - 5. Duration of the incubation time was also observed on day 5 to 9. Three important stages in the fermentation process was the preparation of media and media-making starter cultures. The citric acid produced from tapioca waste had yield 30.23% and the incubation time for 9 days with the acquisition reaches 43.51%. Then compared with the acquisition of citric acid from cassava was getting results that the acquisition of cassava citrate still had good result. It because the carbohydrate content of cassava was higher than on tapioca waste.  Key word : Asam sitrat, limbah tapioka, fermentasi, sub-merge

Abstract

The Indonesian nation began to promote the reform era of regional autonomy, contribute significantly to the local independence, on the other hand the level of investment in road infrastructure in Indonesia in general tend to be less adequate. These conditions have an impact on decreasing the level of system efficiency and effectiveness of planning, implementation and maintenance of existing infrastructure, with consequent emergence of an urgent need to establish the accuracy of the policy directions that can ensure the availability of financing road maintenance is continuous.Concept of in developed countries by way of charge on road users directly as a function of fixed costs and variable costs of road class, management and maintenance, and can provide enough income for the implementation of the road program, by providing an institutional device whereby certain income streams can be channeled to public sector units which can be used without going through the procedures and review of the general budget. Source of income consists of the fuel tax, vehicle tax, vehicle weight, fines for overloading. As an illustration of current conditions, road maintenance costs resulting from fuel tax revenues to cover ± only 25% of the total maintenance funding requirements, while in another country fuel tax revenues reached ± 90%. Key Words: Financing Road, Autonomy, Road Revenue,.

Abstract

At city purwokerto found more than 5 shopping centre not yet has representative parking place where parking place need and infrastructure that provided uneven and disagree with characteristics Parking. may even exist several shopping centre will not has this matter parking place cause shopping centre visitor will park the vehicle in area of around shopping centre or in road body.  Durasi watchfulness result parking is got average long from each parking vehicle at study region during 1.53 clock. parking accumulation total and wheel vehicle volume four that use areal parking from clock 09.00 up to blow 22.00 1700 vehicles. all also has value pto smaller than 1, this mean opportunity soes capacity available that is 605 parking compartments too much compared with vehicle total parking, so that many parking compartments untapped.  Key word: off street parking

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the voltage profile and decrease the electric power, main feeder 20 kV distribution system of Kalibakal Substation (GI Kalibakal). Evaluation refers to the standard PT. PLN (Persero) SPLN 72: 1987 about the specification and design to JTM and JTR and SPLN 10-1A: 1996 percentage losses tolerance is ± 10% of the power delivered. Evaluation results used as the basis for improved simulation voltage drop and  power losses with a network reconfiguration method. Potential re-configuration is determined by looking at the voltage profile and power losses in each configuration feeder and around feeder nearest feeder that will be reconfiguration. Simulation is done using the tools ETAP power station to analyze the power flow the main feeder of GI Kalibakal. The first simulation assuming GI Kalibakal voltage of 20 kV as the voltage rating of medium voltage distribution system. The result is that the voltage profile, 92.66%  in feeder 5 and 94.62% in feeder 6  under standard. With the GI Kalibakal boost to the 20.5 kV, voltage profile feeder 5 rose to 95.29% and feeder be 97.21% 6. So by increasing the voltage GI Kalibakal from 20 kV to 20.5 kV voltage profile already meet the standards. From the simulation with the GI Kalibakal voltage 20.5 kV, losses that occur in all feeder under 10% which means meet with the standard, the largest losses in feeder 5 for 2.81%. Losses had to be suppressed as small as possible in this case performed by a network reconfiguration that can be done without investment. Reconfiguration is done by involving feeder 2, 3, 5 and 6 with total losses before the reconfiguration is 401 kW. After a reconfiguration of the steps:1. Three sections with a value of voltage on the marginal area (section 5_8, section5_9     and 5_10) feeder delegated to section 6 through 6_8, 2. Section 6_11 and 6_12 section feeder transferred to section 3 through 3_6, 3. Section 5_8, 5_9 and 5_10 its section 6_8, 6_9 and 6_10 delegated to feeder section 2    through 2_6, total losses feeder 2,3,5 and 6 to 290 kW, so there is a decrease losses of 401-290 = 111 kW. Key word : Reconfiguration, voltage profile, losses.

Abstract

This research is based of students low learning achievement of students in calculus II courses coupled with a lack of students learning activities. Accordingly, in this study developed a system of interactive CD containing the course material of Integral in Calculus II subject, to assist students in learning the course material. The method used is developing with the following specifications: the model used in this development is the creation of interactive multimedia learning CD that contains material of Integral, practice items and their solutions, the manual of this media. Design validation is performed by experts (lecturer of this course) and validation of users (students) as a field test. Technique data collecting by observation, interviews, and tests. Research instruments include instructional media that consists of instructional materials, computer hardware and software that supported. Evaluation tools are used are test and observation sheets. Technique of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative in the form of average. This research result is a system of interactive multimedia CD that contains material that covers Integral Calculus and Its Application. The effectiveness of this system has been tested by the increasing activities of students learning and increase student achievement of an integral material that is reflected by scores that tend to increase. Keywords: interactive learning media, Integral, student achievement

Abstract

Rainfall-runoff transformation, is a very complex process. Rain input contains space and time which is very high variability and can not be predicted for the future. Thus would require a very complex hydrological analysis and huge calculating. The analysis can be done by assuming a transformation process occurs following certain conditions. This conditions or rules is known as the hydrologic model. This paper attempts to analyze the low flow in Subdas Kranggan at Borobudur using HEC-HMS 3.1 Software. HMS3.1 HEC (Hydrologic Modeling System) is designed to calculate the rainfall-flow processes of a DAS system. This software was developed by the Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineering (2005), which was developed from HEC-1. HEC-HMS 3.1 have calibration facilities, the ability to simulate the distribution model, continuous model and the ability to read GIS data.Based on sensitivity analysis, surface capacity parameters and max infiltration rate is large enough to influence the calibration results changing when both parameters changed its magnitude. Changing calibration result due to the parameters sensitivity of surface capacity, and max infiltration rate indicates that this parameter is very sensitive to changes that occur in these sub DAS or magnitude of these parameters greatly affect to the annual water flow system in that sub DAS. Keywords: Low flow, HEC-HMS 3.1, Subdas Kranggan
